A Decade of Caring - 2009 Brings a Celebration of 10 Years This year we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of The Jeff Gordon Foundation. Our story begins with one small boy, whose journey through leukemia inspired Jeff Gordon to start his foundation to help children in need. A small project driven by the fortitude of this one special child has grown into an organization that has raised over $7 million for children’s charities.
Now in our tenth year, the Foundation has focused our efforts to specifically support research and treatment of pediatric cancer. Our vision is that soon there will be a day when no child will face the uncertainty of this life-threatening disease. In addition, the Foundation will continue its partnership of support for the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital to provide the highest quality of primary and specialty pediatric care to all patients.
A Decade of Caring is not only a celebration of the last ten years, but a foretelling of the next ten years - an opportunity for everyone to get involved, for everyone to help care for a special child in need.
